American  Horse Books Home

Anne Colver

Anne Colver (1908-1991) was an Ohio based author, probably best known for her children’s books about Abraham Lincoln. She was the great niece of Archibald Willard, about whom she wrote a book called Yankee Doodle Painter. Amongst her books are three titles which are horse books (though there may well be more - please let me know if you can identify them).

Finding the books: all the books are findable in the USA, though pricing is erratic. None were printed in the UK.
