The Mystery Horse

Bob takes on a stray filly. The police, meanwhile, check to see if the filly’s been reported lost
or stolen. When several mysterious men turn up at Bob’s ranch, the answer seems obvious;
the filly’s been stolen.
Louise Riley’s proved very difficult to track down. All I know about her is that she wrote at least one other children’s book beside her horse title: Spell at Scoggin’s Crossing (1960). The Mystery Horse has proved equally difficult to track down!
Finding the book: very tricky to find.
